 Zoom is a client-based telepresence and audio/video conferencing tool. It allows for a user to connect to others using sound, video or to share their desktop for demonstrations or presentations. Zoom can create scheduled meetings to remember individuals and contact them at the same time in a scheduled system.

Emporia State University supports Zoom in two formats. Zoom Basic is free to use for the general public and has the following limitations:

      • Meetings are limited to 25 participants.
      • Meetings are limited to 40 minutes.
      • Meeting reports and statistics are unavailable.
      • Uses a generic login ID – normally tied to an Email address.

If larger, longer or metrics-analyzed meetings are needed, Zoom Pro is available.
